No one was driving the car – A Bumpy Ride

Liv – Tamer than I was used to based on their previous work. Seemed more like a grungy vibe than their normal Screamo/Emo. But I enjoyed it very much.

Oscar – i thought i should put Livs thoughts at the top there. Because while thinking about this album I can’t help but be reminded of the late Roger Ebert and his review of Pokémon 1999. The review opens with the sentence “There are times here on the movie beat when I feel like I’m plain in over my head.” I can’t help but agree. This album could be the greatest of its kind – or its worst and I would have quite literally no ability to tell you. This album is like nothing I have ever heard, and I suppose that was the aim of this album review hobby, to hear music I would not normally hear and see if I enjoy it. To that effect this album has been a triumph, I would never normally listen to it and I’m glad I can tick this genre off as something that is very much not for me.

So, I’m afraid I couldn’t analyse this album much more than to tell you if I liked it or not. I didn’t like it at all.
